The Advanosys Security and Automation Technology (ASAT) team has assembled a world class array of managed high efficient, green lighting and control platforms to immediately assist in creating substantial cost savings via the usage of power draw. The green LED lighting, in general, provides a major cost savings in all power draw while providing a much higher quality illumination appropriate to specific areas with little or no associated light pollution. With our fully managed LED illumination platform, not only is there an immediate 40-70% savings in electrical costs along with the much more effective illumination, but the lighting network becomes a wireless network coverage platform. This platform allows for 360 degree high quality video cameras and voice over IP emergency communication stations, combined with emergency evacuation and general notification loudspeaker technology that can be placed on any existing light pole.
For example, on a campus parking log and surrounding building areas, the existing lighting (likely inefficient and poor quality) can be replaced with a new, highly efficient green illumination platform that has a light panel lifetime of 2 – 5 times longer than the existing bulbs. For each pole that may have a 300-600 watt current usage, old technology lighting elements, the modular LED panels at from 1/3 to 1/2 the wattage draw and extremely high quality, targeted illumination can be put in place. Approximately every five poles can have a wireless network repeater pulling an existing or new network out to cover the entire campus area. For every tenth pole a 360 degree IP mega pixel camera can be located along with the voice over IP communication station and associated loudspeaker.
With the campus now utilizing high quality, high efficient, low cost, accurate lighting along with the not previously possible saturated wireless network and camera technology, along with emergency communication stations, the following is now possible:
Whereas lighting previously came on at dark o’clock at full draw until daybreak, every pole is now independently manageable or in any group configuration desired.
Perhaps the illumination ramps up from 20% to 100% until 10 pm, and ramps back to 40% at midnight. This could be done across the board, every other pole, etc.
With the camera coverage and pixelization mapping, every camera is now a viable video analytic motion detector.
Any general movement after a designated time, can initiate a brighter illumination, light flashing, even an automated notification from the individual loudspeaker.
The video camera view, for instance, on a perimeter fence line or vehicle entry location, can initiate any action requested.
For a closed, secured interior, motion seen along the fence line and/or verified just inside, by movement analytic, could initiate the light poles in the vicinity to flash with a loudspeaker information the perpetrator “the facility is closed, this area is under constant surveillance, please vacate the property immediately.”
A similar scenario would be to simply welcome someone to the area where visitation is allowed.
This system can be configured to work with an issued application to smart phones where all personnel allocated have a built in duress device, and upon activation, the wireless network denotes their exact geographic location, lightning in the area flashes, communication can occur from the speakers, the emergency communication station can become listening ears and all video in the vicinity automatically prioritized for view by the local security center and/or our remote central station for exact pinpoint. The image of the person initiating the call can automatically come up, as well as the video of the area to be pushed to the designated local security team for the most heightened level of response possible.
All of these benefits come with a return on investment (ROI) of the substantially decreased usage of electrical power, now powering this most sophisticated emergency security, life safety and hospitality based lighting network. Similar applications can be provided for interior areas and garage and remote locations. The possibilities are somewhat endless, all while saving valuable energy and cost.
